Mr. Finlay, in his address in the defence of Captain Smith of the Titanic, on a charge of abdicating tho order of his duty in deference to Mr. Israay’s opinion. The evidence proved that it was not intended to make a H.rord passage, and there was not the slightest ground for tho suggestion that another life would have been saved had Mr. Ismay not entered the beat.
