IE Agar ilobnrtcs’s amendment, asking for the exclusion of Irish Counties of Antrim, Down, Armagh and Londonderry, was the crux of the Home Rule Bill. TTio defeat of the amendment, tho papers declare, implies that the critical point has been turned. THE PROPOSED IRISH PARLIAMENT. LONDON, June 20. The House of Commons, by 288 to 190, refused to establish a single Chamber Government for Ireland. The Opposition supported the ground that the proposed Senate would bo a sham safeguard, and if only local government were conceded the Second Chamber was not required.
