WELLINGTON, June 14.
A deputation from the Federation of Labour waited upon tho Wellington Trades Council last night and asked for tho co-operation of the latter body in assisting the Waihi and Reefton strikers.
Tlie Council was unable to see its "•ay to comply with the request. It is understood that the feeling of the Council was more favourable to the Reefton men than to those at .Waihi.
