HISTORIC LANDMARK BURNED. NEW PLYMOUTH, Juno 12.—A two-storey house ut Eitzroy, owned by Mr. H. M. Sheet, Commissioner of Crown Lands, at Auckland, and occupied by Mr. Herman Brown, was destroyed by fire to-night. The building was an old historic landmark. The insurance is not available, but it is understood to bo £4OO on the furniture in the National office.
