WELLINGTON, June 11

A. deputation from the M.astcrtou Racing Club asked the: Minister of ' Internal Affairs (The Hon. G. W. Russell) for the restoration of a permit, taken away under tho Racing Commission’s report. The Club picviously had four days annually, and this was cut down to three. Tho Minister gave tho deputation no encouragement, saying before giving a fourth day to a club-now having three days he would favour giving at least one day to tho clubs that had been wiped out.
