The Cost of Living Commission resumed this morning. The evidence \v is concerning the cost of carting. A representative' of a certain hrm related that the Merchants Association tried to induce his principals at Home to give tho Association Hie handling of their goods. A boot operative explained how Mew Zealand goods were branded with foreign brands in order to deceive tho public. He said lie had done this at tho request cf the retailers. A ibeot manufacturer -Corroborated this evidence.
