At tiio Titantic enquiry, Captain Presort, of tho Inman line, said bo ■ ad crossed the Atlantic 700 times, and had never seen a field of icc on iho track that tho Titanic took.
Mr. Miller, an assistant hydrognpher to the Admiralty, gave evidence that ho disapproved of the nso of searchlights on liners.
