Harconrt (Secretary of State for the Colonies) said that salaries would he paid the British Commissioners hut expenses would be paid and a subsistence allowance made when abroad. Sir H. G. Parker gave notice that at the earliest opportunity ho would call attention to the personnel of the Commission.
