THE RAND WICK' RACES. SYDNEY, April 19. The following are the results of today’s races at Rahdwick:— The Stakes.—Jacamir 1, Borrosov 2, Ladies Man 3. Eight, starters. Ladies Man carried a hunched-field well into the straight, when Jacamir •. and, . Borrosov came with a "rush and "a good finish resulted. Won hy three lengths. Time 1.30. Cumberland Stakes.—Trafalgar (8.12) 1, By-Play (8.12) 2, Comedy King (8.7) 3. The other starters were Bibenluke. and. Moorilla. Bibenluke led round the bend. Comedy King and Trafalgar being dose together. At the mile. Comedy King and Trafalgar were two lengths in front of Moorilla. By-play with Bibenluke was beaten off. Before reaching the seven furlongs Trafalgar was in front, and at five furlongs led Comedy King by a length. By-play being _ handy.' Comedy King led into the straight from By-play. Trafalgar again got on terms at the distance, and coming away won by a length and a quarter, ten lengths between the second and third horses. Time 3.32|. City Handicap.—Anrofodina (7.7) 1, Mil (6.12) 2, Patronatus (8.3) 3. Nineteen started. It was a clattering finish. Won by half a length, Patronatus a short length* away. From a good start, Desert Rose and Beverage were the first to move. Once fairly going Desert Rose led by two lengths from Lady Medallist, followed by Beverage and Comedy King. At the seven furlongs Desert Rose was three lengths ahead of Lady Medallist and Beverage. There was little change to the half mile, where Desert Rose was still three lengths in the lead of Lady Medallist., who was clear of Beverage, Flavinius and Comedy King. •’ore the three furlongs was reached, Lady Medallist dropped back fourth and Desert Rose led into the straight from Malt King and Flavinius. At the yearling sales a MultiformIrish Corner colt fetched eight hundred guineas, a Malster-Graceton colt six hundred, and a Medallion-Endanger filly five hundred and thirty. On account of Mr. -J. B.
