THE NOMINATIONS,

The nominations for the six seats on the Hokitika Harbour hoard closed yesterday at noon, when the following had been received;— For the' Borough of Hokitika (three seats): E. Teichelmann, nominated by T. Robinson and G. A. Perry. John Lloyd, by R. Wild and A. Little. R Wild, by W. H. Goodrich and Win. Duncan. J. J. Mclntosh, by G A Perry and R. Wild. A. Falkcnbach, by T. J. McGuigan and E. B. Mabiiv* For the County of Westland (two seats); T. W. Duff, nominated by R. 1 Wild and C. Hannam. j H. L. Michel, by J. Webster and D. i Spence. i There being only the required two ' gentlemen nominated, they have been has been declared elected. Foe the Borough of Ross (one seat): Samuel P. Evans. Being the only nominee, Mr Evans has ben declared elected.
