WEST COAST TOURNAMENT,

CONCLUDING DAY,

The . AA 7 est Coast Championship and Handicap Tennis Tournament was concluded yesterday. Tho games played were interesting and the play was very good, some of the events being hotly contested. The Combined Championship Doubles and Combined Handicap Doubles go to AA 7 estport. There were again a. largo number of spectators throughout the day. The last game was not finished until well into dusk, when a very successful and enjoyable tournament was concluded. The following is the result of tho day’s play:— Ladies Handicap _ Doubles; — Mrs A. A. AVilson and Miss J. Bailie beat Mrs AVako and Mrs Renton 40 —30, Final.—Mrs A. A. AAUlson and Miss J. Bailie beat Mrs Malfroy and Mrs AVilson 40—33. Mens’ Handicap SinglesAVake beat Conway 50—34. Men’s Handicap Doubles :—AA 7 ake and , Bearo beat Steele and Moore 60—46 : Miss J. Bailie and Bailie beat Mrs AAUlliams and AVake (by default). Final: AVako and Beare boat AAhTson and Trent 50—24.
