KUMARA WATER RACE,

In connection with the Kumara water race extension, the tender for the ditching contract of P. Power, of Grey mouth, at £l3Bl has been accepted by the Government, the unsuccessful tenderers being as follows:

As the contract for the Big Wanganui bridge has not yet been signed the name of the successful tenderer is not available, but it is understood that that of Maurice O’Connor and J. O'Donnell lias been accepted.
