The championship .athletic meeting was concluded to-day in. glorious weath or, with a large attendance. The following are the Championship results.— Cumberland Wrestling.—Tweedie 1, McDonald 2.
Halfi-mile Championshipi.—Tremhath (Gore) 1, Campbell (Tikokino 2. Time 1.58 1-5.
Vaulting Championship—O’Connell Canterbury) 2 (Temuka) 10ft 2in 1. Horgan (South Ca!nterbury) gave an exhibition and cleared 10ft sin.
Quarter-mile Hurdle Championship —Shivas (Greymouth) and Campbell (Tikokino) dead bent. 220 Yards Championship—Tremhath (Gore) 1, Shivas (Grey) 2. Time 23esc. Hop, Stop and Jump.—Metcalf (South Canterbury! 41ft Tin, 1; Horgan (South Canterbury) 39ft 2in, 2; O’Connell (Temuka) 39ft lin 3. Quarter-mile Championship—Trembath (Gore) 1, Shivas (Grey) 2. Time 55 1-5.
