CHARITABLE AID BOARD ELECTIONS.
The election of one member to represent Knmara on the Charitable Aid sent Knmara and Ross on the Charitable Aid Board, which took place on Wednesday resulted as follows:
Thomas Kennedy, Knmara, 130, lloss G1 ; total 191 ; Richard Red, Knmara, 52, Ross 48; total 100. John Christian Jorgensen, Knmara 51, Ross 19; total 70.
At Greymouth the election of six candidates resultedW .Russell 522, J Beirne 4G6, J. Giesking 420, E. Sheedy 405, H. Bignell 393, Felix Campbell 391. The unsucessful candidates were:—J. Jackson 382, J. Petrie 378, E. Smith 288, IV. Kettle 237, A. Yanall 272.
