WEDDING BELLS.

TOMPSETT—GILMER.

A very picturesque wedding was celebrated at All Saints Church yesterday afternoon, the contracting parties being Miss Ivy Gilmer, niece of the Hon. Hamilton Gilmer, M.L.C., of Wellington, and Mr H. H. Tompsett, Managin’ of Te Aro House, Wellington. The Rev. H. S. Leach, Vicar, performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by Mr A. C. Grant, wore a white satin channelise directoire gown, the orthodox veil and carried a shower bouquet. The bridesmaids, Misses Aleachan and L. Gilmer, wore bine channelise dresses, black picture hats and carried bouquets of pink begonias. Mrs Grant, -sister of the bride, wore cream silk relieved with embroideries and feather hat and boa to match. Mrs Skilton (also a sister of the bride) wore can niel silk, and plumed hat to match. Dr'Rogers acted as best man, and Dr Teichelmann and Mr J. E. Wade as groomsmen. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at Mrs A. C. Grant’s residence, the Rev.
