SOAP TRUST LIBEL CASES
London. July 29 An action for libel brought by Messrs ' Joseph Watson and Sons, soap manufacturer*, agamsfc the "Daily News" aid allied papers, arising ont of the comments on the alleged soap trust some time ago, bas been settled prirately. Mi Watson announces the damage •greed npon exceed those receutiy paid to Messrs Lever Bros, by the Daily Mail and the Evening News (v ; z, £50,000.) The latter papers havj now withdrawn heir aspersions and apologised.
