New York, Jan 3

The funerals of the victims of the Troquois Theatre fire took place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. A long line processions were constantly proceeding to the cemeteries.

The hymn "Lead KiDdly L'ght" was sung at all the funeral services. The church bells were tolling all day, and all business and seasonable celebrations were suspended.

The public schools were closed in memory of 34 school teachers, who perished in the fire. , Warrants have been issued for the arrest of the proprietors of the theatre and the building commissioner on charges of manslaughter.

There were net enough coffins and hearses available for the funeral rites.

The mayor, after an inspection, declared tbe building bad not complied with the law and ought not to have been opened.

The operator of the electric light for the "Moonlight Dance" states that he saw arc light splutter between the carbons and the curtain became immediatedly alight.
