AN INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL BOY.

An escapee from the Burnhara Industrial School, who had stowed away on a steamer ftom Lyttelton. was brought before the S.M. Court to day aud ordered to be scut back ro the institution and whipped with the birch. The youngster was subsequently placed in a sell in the Police Staiion bub wriggled through che aperture used for passing food to the inmates and quickly vanished.
