The good steamer Waipara arrived yester day from Greymouth with a full cargo, she will tender the Maori to-day, Bhould that vessel make her appearance in the offing.

The steamer Kennedy, shortly after leaving Westpprt, broke one of her shafts. She had only got the length of the Buller Steeples when she was obliged to run back. §he is reported to have had between fifty and sixty passengers on board. The Murray will now take on her passengers and cargo, as it Is said the Kennedy will require to return to Nelson for repairs.
