A.— TIDAL SIGNALS. Tidal Signals are to consist of One, Two, or Three Balls, of any color which can be best seen at any Port arranged vertically. Flood Tide.— Two Balls, vertical, at Masthe .d, not less than sis feet apart. Last Quarter Flood — Three Bj>lls,venical, at. Masthead, not less thun six feet apart. Ebb Tide.— One P-all at Masthead. B.— BAR OR DANGER SIGNALS. Bar Signals will be distinguished by their being arranged horizontally. Wait for lligji Water. — A Ball at each Yurdarm, and one on Mast, ' half tho length of tho yard, below the yard. Stand on ; Take tub Bar.— 'Four Balls, horizontal, on Yard, two ou each side of Mast. Bar Dangerous —'three Ball*, horizontal, on Yard, Two on any oue side of Mast and one on tho other. Potto Sea. — Two Balls, horizontal, on Yard, on either side of Mast Note. — Semaphoro Arms are to be used for piloting Vessels over all Bars where a Pilot establishment is maintained, when Pilots aro not. put on board, and tho Vessel being piloted by tbe Semaphore is to be steered in the direction towards which tho Semaphore Arm is pointed. When tho Arm is dropped the Vessel is to be k'-pt as she goes. Manu'rau Harbor having soreral channels, Special Regulations will be issued by the Loe.il Authorities for Iho guidance of Vessels frequenting that Port, tmd strangers are cautioned ng.uust attempting to enter without a knowledge of these Local Regulations.
