WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA). —Tourist Department officers who boarded the Akaroa from England and the Monowai from Sydney had a number of problems to solve this morning. The Akaroa cases were ; comparatively simple as there were only seven passengers aboard who , had left their travel arrangements to the department, but on the Monowai there were about 175 prospective tourists. i The department, reported later today that it had been able to get a . good number of tourists away for; | trips in the North Island, and ex-, i pected no difficulty either in getting tourists to Mount Cook and Queens-1 town.
