Yugoslav Rations Irregular
BELGRADE.- Distribution of fat and meat rations in Yugoslavia continues to be irregular even though the peasants are selling more cattle for lack of feed following last summer’s drought, the official newspaper “Borba” complained. Because officials in charge of the compulsory State buying of food from the peasants were not putting enough drive into their job. too much meat was finding its way into the “free” market where prices were higher.—Reuter.
