Deaf And Dumb Students Burned To Death
■ TOKIO, Dec. 20—Ten deaf aiMl dumb students were burned to death today when fire razed the dormitory of a school in Okayama City, western Japan. The damage is estimated at £lO,OOO. The cause of the fire is unknown.
U.S. Senate And House Excess Profits Bills Differ
WASHINGTON, Dec. 21 (Recd. 8 pm).—The Senate today voted for a 3,200,000,000 dollars excess profits Bill on corporations.
Tha House previously bad approved the Bill, which differs considerably from the Senate measure. A Senate and House Committee will try and adjust their differences.
