Special Meeting Of Cabinet To Be Held Today
WELLINGTON. Last Night (PALAU members of Cabinet are to be summoned fo Wellington tomorrow to attend a special meeting at 11 a.m. at which the railway strike threat, will be discussed. The Prime Minister (Mr Holland), who is in Christchurch, will attend the meeting. The announcement of the special Cabinet meeting was made this afternoon by the Minister of Railways (Mr Goosman) after further discussions with leaders of the various railway workers organisations. The deputy-Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake), the Minister of Labour (Mr Sullivan) and thp General Manager of Railways (Mr. F. W. Aickin) also took part.
