Australia Offers Fellowships And Scholarships
SYDNEY, Dec. 20 (Recd. Bpm). The Commonwealth Government has offered to the Governments of Ceylon, India and Pakistan, 100 fellowships and scholarships tenable in Australia during 1951 India has been offered 50, Pakistan 35. and Ceylon 15. In addition fellowships and scholarships have been offered as follows: Indonesia 25, Thailand eight, Burma seven, Associated States of Indo-China three, and the British Territories of Malay, Singapore, Brunei, Sarawak and North Borneo, seven. Training facilities will be provided in fields in which the Governments of the areas concerned indicate are of the greatest importance for their dev e 1 o p m e n t.
