Authority To Control Radio Television In Case Of War
WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 (Reed. G pm) President Truman tonight asked Congress for authority Io control radio and television stations, if necessary, to prevent enemy planes from using 1 heir signals. Air Force officials said that, stations. in the event, of imminent air attack, might bo turned off or manipulated to destroy their usefulness as a navigational aid to planes or guided missiles. j
