AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— Two Fijian athletes arrived in Auckland by flying-boat from Suva today to compete in the Canterbury Centennial Games. They were Mataika Tuicakau and Luke Tunabuna. Tuicakau won the shot put championship at the Empire Games and Tunabuna came second in the javelin championship with a throw of 184 ft.
