FLORIDA SCRATCHED FOR AUCKLAND CUP
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— Florida was scratched for the Auckland Cup, on the first day of the Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting at Ellerslie on Boxing Day, at 2.55 p.m., allowing Battle Rock (25) 7.0 to re-enter the field. Other scratchings are: — Christmas Handicap: Lady Carmel, 9 a.m. today. Queen’s Plate: Reliance, 1.20 p.m. Monday. All engagements: Diamond King, 9 a.m., Inclination 10 a.m. Monday. Auckland Cup: Fireman, 3.50 p.m. today.
