The headmistress of Woodford House, Havelock North, Miss Lucy Hogg, will leave 'in February for a six months’ visit to England. Miss D. M. Holland, a former headmistress ot the school, who now lives in Christchurch, will take the position temporarily. Miss Hogg will be at the school for the first three weeks in February. The death occurred last week at Wellington of Mrs M. R. McClay, aged 91. Mrs McClay was one of the founders of the Wellington Y.W.C.A. and president for many years. An active Christian worker in Colombo, Australia and New Zealand, Mrs McClay had many friends throughout New Zealand.
