31 STUDENTS AND CREW KILLED IN AIR CRASH
CARACAS (Venezuela), Dec 17. — All 31 passengers and crew were killed when a D.C.3 airliner crashed and burned near Merida, in Ihe Andes Mountains, 340 miles west of Caracas on Friday. A search party today recovered all the bodies. The plan? was taking Catholic school students, including members of well|;nown families, home for the holiday!.
