Golfer G. Fitches Wins Medal Round At Castlecliff
G. Fitches with a net 75 won the medal round held by the Castlecliff Golf Club at the opening of its summer season last week-end.
All competitions this year will be played over two days as in the past. Two qualifying rounds for the summer cup championship will be held for which the first 16 will play off in match play. The second 16 will qualify for the summer consolidation handicap. For re-handicapping purposes the match committee will be using par 70 until further notice. Next week-end’s match will be under slablefcrd-bogey rules. The following week a bogey round will be played. The first qualifying round for the summer cup will be played on the week-end of December 9 and 10.
