Recount Of Votes Cast In Kaukatea Riding
No change in personnel has been disclosed by the official recount ot votes cast in the Kaukatea riding, Mr N. Neilson, the sitting councillor for the riding having been returned. Mr Orr gave the official figures last night:— D. McGregor 41 •N. Neilson 112 A recount of votes cast in the election to find two county representatives on the Wanganui Harbour Board will be available on Thursday evening. The preliminary count gave Mr H, R. Morgan 192 votes, Mr D. McGregor, a sitting member of the board, 157, and Mr G. C. Wells, the other sitting member, 149.
