SHE DIDN’T KNOW THE GUN WAS LOADED!
CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night (PA).—A revolver shot echoing through a Christchurch bank this morning caused some consternation among the staff. The shot was fired accidentally by a girl who had picked up a clerk s revolver.
The girl, who goes regularly to the bank each morning, before It is open to the public, on her employer’s business was waiting outside a teller’s cubicle. A bank clerk, who was also outside the teller’s cubicle, took a revolver out of a bag and placed It on the .edge of the counter. The girl picked up the revolver and it discharged, the bullet pieicing the glass partition in front of the cubicle about four feet above the ground. No one was hurt but one of the male bank staff was cut very slightly on the chin by a piece of glass.
