Wool Cheque For Wanganui Will Be £3,500,000
The farmers’ cheque for wool sold at the Wanganui sale on Friday and Saturday will be approximately £3,500,000. This is an unofficial figure. The 25,613 bales realised an estimated £l4O a bale.
Last year the four sales in Wanganui netted just over £5,000,000.
