FORMER WANGANUI CHIEF POSTMASTER DEAD; MR. A. PELLOW
Formerly chief postmaster at Wanganui, the death has occurred in Auckland of Mr A. Fellow, aged 64 years. He had been in the Post and Telegraph Department for more than 41 years before his retirement in 1944. Joining the department at Mr Fellow was later transferred to Auckland as a telegraphist. In 1922 lie was made superintendent at the Aw.mui Radio Station, but shortly afterward became postmaster at Paero-a. He he'd similar appointments at Te Kuiti. Whangarc', Hastings and Wanganui. From Wanganui he was appointed chief postmaster at Wellington.
Mr Pellow was a prominent member of the Masonic Order. He was a keen soortsman and a member of many golf nnd bowling cllibs in various dis 1 riels. He is survived by Ills wife.
