The Bill also authorises the issue of certificates of title for railway land. The Minister of Railways (Mr Goosmanl explained that this procedure had been consist ent h followed at one time, but in 1946 it was found that it lacked statutory authority. It was now intended to legalise lhe practice. The Bill was rd erred to the Lands Committee.
