Contract Bridge.
In this week’s play in the current cumulative contract bridge pairs competition, Mr. Willis and Mrs Maitland gained the highest points for NorthSouth with a score of plus 1370, with Mrs C. P. Brown and Mrs Palmer in second place, scoring minus 1050. For East-West, Miss Hatrick and Mrs Salmon carded plus 2770, and Mrs Russell and Mr Clark plus 1680. The final round of this competition will be played next week.
