N.Z. Women Establish London Agency
An enterprising New Zealand woman, Mrs Collyns, formerly Miss Margaret Churchward, of Blenheim, has established a travel agency in London She specialises in helping tourists to know the attractions and services which London has to offer. Through the agency, businessmen engage secretaries, dinner parties may be arranged, sight-seeing and shopping expeditions conducted, and visits arlanged to theatres, clubs and race meetings. Mrs Collyns will also engage baby sitters, and will book accommodation if given reasonable notice. Her assistant is another New Zealander, Miss June Goulter, of Marlborough, while employed as casual assistants are New Zealand girls known to Mrs Collyns who welcome the opportunity to earn extra money. Now on a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs W. T. Churchward, Blenheim, Mrs. Collyns expects to leave for Britain at the end of January, in time to make arrangements for the influx of visitors to London next year.
