Wanganui Bowling Club Teams For Saturday’s Pennants Competitions
The following teams will represent the Wanganui Bowling Club in the second round of the Centre Pennants next Saturday at 2 p.m.:— Senior: Haworth, Cade, Young, Mursell v. H. Harris (St. John's) at St. John’s; J. C. Austin, Tomsett, Treloar, Steel v. Ball (Marton) at Marton; Skelsey, Martin, Walker, Tilley v. F. Smith (St. John’s) at Wanganui; Powell, Patterson, Glengarry, J. B. Jack v. Waverley, at Wanganui; Scott, Cox, Dick, Boulton v. Fletcher (Wanganui East) at Wanganui; White, Ward, Bretherton, W. Harris v. Brass (St. John’s) at Wanganui. Junior: Pryor, Wildbore, R. E. Thompson, F. W. Wilson v. Hasler (St. John’s) at St. John's; A. M. Rennie, Gatward, Heath, E. Lange v. Gould (Wanganui East) at Wanganui East; J. L. Lowe jun., Larsen, Williamson, Billinghurst V. Congreve (St. John’s) at St. John's; Putt, Keating, Connop, Greener v. Stratford (Marton) at Marton; Kelly, Grant, Emmerson, C. S. Ryan v. Osborne (Marton) at Wanganui; Hendry, W. R. G. Thomson, H. J. Armstrong, F. S. Williams v. Hamer (Marton) at Wanganui. Any of these players who are not available are to notify the match committee as early as possisble. The first round of the club senior and intermediate singles and pairs must be completed by next Saturday.
