WANGANUI LAWN TENNIS INTER-CLUB DRAW FOR NEXT SATURDAY

The following is the draw in the Wanganui Lawn Tennis Association's inter-club competition for next Saturday. The full draw will be published tomorrow. The attention of players is drawn to the following conditions:— (1) Matches in all grades are to be the best of 17 games; (2) all matches are to commence at > a.m. sharp, any competitor unable to play through late arrival will forfeit his or her game; (3) each team in all grades are required to provide two pairs of balls; <4) all results are to be placed in the hands of the association secretary not later than the Monday following the match; (5) where sets are even the rubber will be decided on games; (6) in the event of postponement through wet weather, the matches affected will be carried forward to the end of the series. The draw for Saturday is as follows : A GRADE. First Round. Wanganui East v. Wanganui, at Wanganui. Gonville v. Victoria, at Gonville. B GRADE. First Round. Victoria v. Wanganui East, at Victoria. St. Mary's v. St. John’s, at St. Mary’s. Gonville v. Wanganui, at Gonville. C GRADE. First Round. St. John's v. St. Mary’s, at St. John’s. Wanganui East v. Victoria, at Wanganui East. Gonville v. Wanganui, at Wanganui.
