Canadian Line Granted Right To Fly The Tasman

WELLINGTON, Nov. 6—The right to fly the New Zealand-Australian route, hitherto the monopoly of Tasman Empire Airways flying-boats, has been granted to Canad: .;n Pacific Airlines. It is understood that the Governments of both countries have agreed to allow the company to fly the route as part of its Pacific service from Vancouver. It will not be allowed to pick up or put down passengers in New Zealand to and from Australia. The new service is expected to start from December 2. The route will be Vancouver, Honolulu, Fiji, Auckland, Sydney return, every second Friday. Aircraft on the route will be Canadian fours.
