MOTOR COLLISION
An army station waggon driven by Rao William McAneaney, a soldier, at Waiouru camp, collided with a light car driven by another soldier, Leslie John McKay, near Brophy’s store at Hihitahi on Saturday night. McKay was accompanied by his wife and another female passenger. There was a soldier passenger in the army vehicle. Nobody was hurt but the car was somewhat badly damaged.
