Volunteer workers are making great strides in preparing for one of the best shows yet to be held in Wanganui. Members from the Agriculture and Pastoral Association have been busy at the showgrounds during the last two days, giving particular attention to the sheep pens, 330 of which are needed as against 232 last year. Eut record-breaking entries in almost all classes give the volunteers plenty of work to keep them occupied. “Sideshow Alley” is likely to be a popular section of the grounds, and most of the sideshow proprietors arc already in the city preparing for the show which opens on November 10,
