Appeal For Fund For Establishment Of Crippled Children Home
With the laudable object of raising funds for the establishment in Wanganui of a homo for crippled children, an appeal for funds is being made. Those who wish to support this appeal are invited to contribute cash donations. Country districts are being asked to assist by arranging functions at which funds can be raised.
Sponsored by the Wanganui Savage Club, a concert and dance is to be given in the Makirikiri Hall early in December. It. is felt that there is great need tor a special home for crippled children in Wanganui, and the society intends to strive to that end. Donations may be left at the "Chronicle’ and will be acknowledged through the Press and forwarded to the proper quarter.
