REVERSAL OF PLEA
When he appeared before Mr Justice Hay in the Supreme Court, Wanganui, yesterday, James Baxter, labourer, aged 22, who had previously denied two charges of theft in the Lower Cour, reversed his plea to one of euilty and was remanded for sentence. Accused was charged that on July 26 last he stole tools to the value of £2O, the property of Arthur Ernest Coates, and that on the same date he stole a lunch bag valued at 10s and a screwdriver and bit, valued at ss, the property of James William Jackson. The Crown Prosecutor, Mr N. R. Bain, appeared for the Crown and accused was represented by Mr K. R. Horsley.
