SIMPLE NON-RELIGIOUS CREMATION CEREMONY FOR BERNARD SHAW
LONDON, Nov. 6 (Recd. 6 pm).— The body of George Bernard Shaw will be cremated in London today al a simple non-religious ceremony. Only a few relatives, close friends, household staff and two nursing sisters who tended him on his deathbed will be at the chape.. It was his wish that the ashes of the 94-year-old playwright will he mingled with those of his wife. Shaw has said he did not care what was then done with the intermingled ashes. It has been proposed that they bo buried in Westminster Abbey, but the Dean of Saint Patrick’s, Dublin. Shaw’s birth place, wants to bury them there beside the body of Jonathan Swift.—Reuter.
