Twice Round Mt. Egmont In Under 11 Hours
NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night (PA).—ln a dim light at 4 a.m. today two professional cyclists, L. Lethbridge, of Waitara, and D. Gundcrsen, of New Plymouth, set off from New Plymouth Post Oilice. Ten hours, 26min. 5 l-ssec. later they were bacr. after having ridden twice round Mount. Egmont. and broken the forme, record of 12hrs. 19min. for a double circuit. The total distance is 20G miles. The previous record was estab•Lhed in 1934.
