Two trade union secretaries, Mr L. C. Hair, of the New Zealand Workers’ Union, and Mr R. Jones a member of the council of the Federation of Labour and secretary of the Canlerbury branch of the Engineering Trades’ Union, upturned to Auckland by air from San Francisco last night. They were invited to America as guests of the American Federations Conference at Houston. Texas, as observers from the New Zealand Federation.
