OBITUARY Mr. C. A. Brant

HUNTE,RVILLE, Last Night (O,C). —The death occurred suddenly last Friday, of Mr. Charles Ailanby Brant, son of the late Mr. George Brant, of HunerviUe, and the late Mrs Brant, of Shiftbury, le Archa. He was associated for many years with the firm of Ellis Bros., of Hunterville, and at one time he drove a four-horse brake to deliver goods to the outlying districts. He also dicve for T. G. Taylors, Ltu. A returned serviceman of the First World War, Mr Brant was a member of the Hunterville R.S.A. which conducted the service at the graveside. The service at the house was conducted by the Rev. Culpitt. The pall bearers were Messrs. Hunt, Bruce, Gordon, Wicks (R.S.A. members) and A. Bruce (a nephew). Mr Brant is survived by three sisters, Mesdames Morrow (Hunterville), Clark (Auckland) and Hobson (Wellington) and two brothers, Messrs. W. Brant (Hawera) and R. Brant (Bulls).
