WANGANUI ROWING CLUB TENTATIVELY CHOOSES ITS JURY CUP CREWS

Tentative selections of crews for for the Jury Cup regatta on Saturday, December 9, have been made by the Wanganui Rowing Club. With a growing membership this season, the club has so far named 12 crews for training, including a senior four, a youths' eight and an open eight. The selections are:— Senior Four: B. Ingram, J. Nolan, R. Lowe, D. Clapcott. Junior Four: M. Paul, D. Nancarrow, Jim Byres, E. Wenham. Youths’ Four: B. Lockett, B. Cathro, K. Hogan, P. Cronin. Open Maiden: D. Wilson, D. Brydone, K. Hogan, P. Cronin. Welters: J. Phillipson, G. Wilkinson, B. Smith. J. Doyle. Lightweights: No. I crew, Murcell, L. Bailey, K. Reid, P. Lewis. No. 2 crew: J. Shaw, M. O’Hara, W. Head, T. Walford.
